Swarna is a Research and Policy Manager at EPIC India with around seven years of experience in catalyzing urban change through action-based research, policy development, and governance system analysis in India, ASEAN, and North Africa. Her last workplace was World Resources Institute, India where she worked in the Sustainable Cities and Transport vertical. She is passionate about integrating the needs of vulnerable populations into the processes of urban development, energy transition and climate resilience building. Trained as an urban planner and policymaker, she is adept at navigating complex urban challenges and implementing innovative strategies to drive sustainable and inclusive outcomes.
Swarna has a Master’s in Public Policy from Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at National University of Singapore and Bachelor’s in Urban Planning from School of Planning and Architecture, Bhopal.
