Kratika Narain

Project Manager

Kratika is an urban policy professional with over four years of experience at the intersection of sustainable mobility, climate action, and public policy.

At EPIC India, where she has spent the past two and a half years, she supports the design and implementation of market-based decarbonization policies aimed at transforming urban transport. Her work spans high-impact initiatives to curb emissions across the transport sector, including congestion pricing mechanisms and the use of technology and data systems to strengthen in-use vehicle emissions compliance. Skilled in government stakeholder engagement, project management, and policy research, she drives initiatives from ideation to implementation.

Prior to joining EPIC India, Kratika built a strong policy foundation at the Transport Department of GNCTD, contributing to landmark projects including Delhi’s electric bus initiative through national tenders such as the Grand Challenge and National Electric Bus Program, the Delhi EV Policy, and strategies to accelerate public transport adoption, placing her at the forefront of India’s urban mobility transition.

Earlier in her career, she gained valuable experience at the Bharti Institute of Public Policy at ISB and Nagpur Smart City, sharpening her understanding of urban governance and policy formulation.

Kratika holds a Master’s degree in Urban Management from CEPT University, Ahmedabad, and a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, enabling her to approach cities as both built environments and evolving policy systems.
