About the Trust

The University of Chicago Trust (the Trust) is a charitable trust in India, established in 2008 by alumnus of The University of Chicago. The objectives of the UChicago Trust are to provide opportunities for grants to support educational programs, research programs and activities for the betterment of India.

Responsibilities:

• Visual & Video Support: Assist in creating design-led social media content, including carousels and graphics, and produce short-form videos, reels, and YouTube Shorts, from editing to basic storytelling, translating research into simple, engaging formats.
• Design & Branding Assistance: Support the creation of engaging creatives for social media and knowledge products such as event posters, collaterals, and reports, using tools like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, and InDesign, while maintaining brand guidelines.
• Content Library & Repurposing: Work with and edit from existing video and content libraries to create fresh, engaging outputs.
• Digital Outreach & Coordination: Provide need-based support for EPIC India’s communications and digital outreach initiatives.

Qualifications:

Education

• Master’s in Design, Mass Communication, Journalism or another related field

Skills

• Proficient in Canva, Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite.

Experience

• Minimum 1-2 years of working experience, including design work, video editing, etc
• Prior work experience in environmental/ energy organisations will be an advantage

Working Conditions

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in India.
