Waste Methane Management in Asia report

Released on World Environment Day, this six-country comparative analysis of waste methane management across Asia highlights the policies, progress, and challenges shaping methane mitigation efforts across the region. EPIC India contributed to this important publication, including the India chapter, which examines the country’s waste methane landscape, recent policy and infrastructure advancements, and the opportunities to strengthen data, financing, governance, and implementation. The report underscores how collaborative action and evidence-based solutions can help accelerate methane reduction while supporting cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable cities across Asia.
